This site is owned and operated by Unedged Software, LLC ("Unedged"). Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At Unedged, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

INFORMATION UNEDGED GATHERS AND TRACKS

Unedged gathers two types of information about users:

. Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to sign up for notification of the launch of our beta product(s), to receive update emails, to participate in our message boards or forums, to refer or invite a friend to try SendShield, and from participation in polls and surveys;
. Information Unedged gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying user updates of our software client (new version installation) and receiving error reports when SendShield encounters a problem. Beta users' individual email addresses will be tracked only for purposes of understanding frequency of usage. This information allows us to better tailor our software to users' needs and to help us better understand our audience.

Under no circumstances does Unedged divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.

PRIVACY POLICY

Invite or Refer a friend
Our users can choose to electronically invite or refer a friend to try the SendShield application using the product user interface. SendShield will utilize the email addresses of the user and the recipient from the Microsoft Outlook client. This information is used only in the case of voluntary invitations and referrals.
Message boards/forums policy
Users of the site's Message Boards and Forums must register separately for these services in order to post messages, although they needn't register to visit the site. During registration the user is required to supply a username, password, and email address.
"Notify Sender" policy
Our product users can choose to electronically notify someone else about SendShield by clicking "Notify Sender" in alerts regarding hidden data. SendShield will utilize the email addresses of the user and the recipient from the Microsoft Outlook client. This information is used only in the case of voluntary notifications to advise the recipients about the types of errors in their email. The information is not used for any other purpose, nor does it get sent to Unedged.
Surveys
Unedged may occasionally conduct user surveys to better target our content to our audience. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party.
Usage Tracking
Unedged tracks the installation, version number and updates of our product in use by customers. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Unedged does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name.

USE OF INFORMATION
Unedged uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience with our product. As stated above, we use information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls, surveys, message boards, and forums. We may send updates to registered users. Unedged never shares user information with any third parties. When we use tracking information to determine which versions of our product users are using, we are interested in knowing how many users are using which version and how frequently they update their software.

SHARING OF THE INFORMATION
Unedged uses the above-described information to tailor our product to suit your needs. We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

By using Unedged software, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Unedged. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
